The acclaimed Declan McKenna has performed on the main stages of Coachella, Lollapalooza and Glastonbury, and on 21st August he will be coming to Music Hall

Declan was 16 when he won Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition. Not long after, “Brazil” turned him into a name everyone was talking about, a teenager criticising FIFA over the 2014 World Cup and somehow writing a genuine pop anthem out of it – which has since reached a billion streams worldwide.

He’s spent the decade since refusing to repeat himself. Debut album What Do You Think About the Car? put him on the map. Zeros, an album filled with glam rock and space-age ambition went Top 5, nearly knocking the Rolling Stones off the top spot. What Happened to the Beach? went further still, sun-baked and psychedelic, a totally different record again.

Along the way he’s picked up a BBC Music Award and built one of the most loyal fanbases in British music
